Bekend om haar roze tacos, staat de innovatieve taqueria La Pitahaya Vegana in het hartje van Mexico-City bekend voor het aanbieden van verschillende Mexicaanse klassiekers in een gezond jasje. Wat La Pitahaya Vegana echter nog specialer maakt zijn de mensen en de boodschap achter het restaurant. Guillermo en Laura, de bedenkers van La Pitahaya Vegana, startten 7 jaar geleden met een droom en verkochten streetfood vanuit hun oude blauwe ‘67 Volkswagen (Pitahaya Móvil). Zeven jaar later zijn ze twee locaties rijker en staan ze bekend om hun duurzame en lokale manier van werken. Guillermo’s visie? Met échte producten de lekkerste maaltijden serveren aan iedereen. Vincente is basically like a talking fruit museum! If you are ever in Mexico City and on the look-out for a fun and educational experience, Vincente is a must visit. P.s the fruits were delicious!
